4th Grade
This classroom would be located in an elementary school with a class size of 18-21 students. The social studies curriculum would be focused on Indiana history. The students are new to learning about maps and how to read them. In earlier grades they would have created a map from home to school, but without the technical information that is included on atlases and maps.

This activity will help the students create a tour of Indiana without leaving the classroom. They will also be able to help their parents plan their next trip.
